I created these hexagonal homes to provide a secure, attainable way for people to own property when the standard market is out of reach. Inspired by my disaster relief efforts in Jamaica, these modular units withstand 185mph winds and expand alongside your needs. I am dedicated to helping families build lasting equity through high-quality, weather-ready, and truly affordable housing.
Serving Alabama homeowners, ADU investors, and Section 8 homeownership programs.

My Story: Why I Designed the Pod
From Jamaica to Tuscaloosa
Born in Jamaica and now living in Tuscaloosa, my journey into resilient housing began on Habitat for Humanity trip to Treasure Beach. After Hurricanes Beryl we repaired a roof only for same roof to be destroyed the next year by Hurricane Melissa. That cycle sparked a realization: we shouldn't just be repairing; we need to be redesigning for a new reality.
The Hexagon Idea
I looked to nature for the ultimate structural efficiency. The hexagon—found in honeycombs and turtle shells—offers unparalleled wind and earthquake resistance. This geometric inspiration led to our first disaster relief prototype, a hexagon pod that now stands in Habitat’s yard as a testament to what resilient engineering can achieve.
Homes That Grow With You
Our modular approach makes expansion simple: you move in with one finished pod, and simply add more as your family grows. Each pod connects seamlessly to the last, ensuring your home always looks complete and beautiful at every stage of its journey. Below, you’ll see how the pods tessellate like honeycomb as your home grows.

Pods combine like honeycomb so your home can grow from one pod to a full 3-bedroom house over time.
